From the founders
Antevorta was born from co-founder Annie’s personal experience with endometriosis and early menopause. In her 30s, treatments for severe symptoms brought a new set of challenges—from hot flashes and hair loss to persistent intimate dryness and irritation.
After trying countless solutions, Annie found unexpected relief in skincare formulated with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The experience made her realize how many women were navigating similar changes, often without products designed for their evolving skin and intimate needs.
She shared the idea with her friend Sara Jane, who grew up in Hong Kong with Chinese herbal remedies and has built her career helping women move through the world with confidence. Together, they created Antevorta: restorative skincare rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, designed to support women through the changes of menopause and beyond.
From intimate washes, wipes and sprays to facial cleansers, essences and creams, Antevorta brings time-honored herbal formulations into modern daily rituals—helping women feel comfortable and confident in their skin.

Sara Jane is an Eastern wellness expert, host of the Hot Water podcast, and host of Netflix’s makeover series Mind Your Manners. Her work is dedicated to helping women grow, embrace change, and move through the world with confidence.
Annie Ho
Co-founder & COO
Our products are a distillation of Annie’s knowledge gathered from her grandfather’s heritage TCM clinic in Taiwan and her own Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine certification issued by the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS). Annie is passionate about developing a female-led brand that celebrates women and leads the product and R&D department of Antevorta.

As Medical Director of OBGYN at Northwestern Medicine and former Department Chair of Women's Health at Jiahui International Hospital in Shanghai, Dr. Lin has over 20 years experience specializing in gynecology and obstetrics in US and China and has been caring for women throughout all stages of their lives.
